3809592 - Poor Text Contrast for "Create new Groups" and "Import static Groups" Buttons When SAP User Experience Updates Are Enabled

When the Enable SAP user experience updates feature is enabled under Admin Center → Company System and Logo Settings, the Create new Groups and Import static Groups buttons on the Settings → Groups page may have poor text contrast and be difficult to read.

The issue is reproducible across different browsers, private/incognito sessions, and user/admin accounts. It affects all users and there is currently no workaround.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite 

1. Log in to SAP SuccessFactors.
2. Navigate to Admin Center → Company System and Logo Settings.
3. Verify that Enable SAP user experience updates is enabled.
4. Navigate to Settings → Groups or Settings → More Settings → Groups.
5. Observe the Create new Groups and Import static Groups buttons.
6. Compare the button text readability when the SAP user experience updates feature is enabled and disabled.
7. Reload the page after changing the setting and access the Groups page again.

The issue is caused by incorrect theming configuration for the text color of the affected buttons.

The button text color is using portlet.headerTextColor instead of secondaryButton.textColor. This results in insufficient contrast with the button background color defined by secondaryButton.bgColor.

A code correction has been implemented to address the incorrect theming configuration.

The correction includes changes to the relevant text-color theming properties, including:

• Removing sapPageHeader_TextColor from the affected button.
• Applying sapList_HeaderTextColor to the transparent button.
• Overwriting sapGroup_TitleTextColor with sapList_HeaderTextColor, where applicable.

The correction is planned for the 2H 2026 release.
