3809618 - DSI down with ASE error 2601 on INSERT…SELECT under statement replication (UDIS) - SRS

Symptom

  • DSI thread stops on the replicate with ASE error 2601: "Attempt to insert duplicate key row in object 'tableX' with unique index 'PK'."
  • After deploying a new stored procedure version that introduced two additional INSERT statements into tableX, a replicated INSERT…SELECT against tableX was replayed and encountered duplicate keys on the target.
  • Example pattern observed: INSERT INTO tableX (…) SELECT … FROM tableX WHERE tableX_SESSION_ID = …; replicated execution led to duplicate primary key values on the target.
