3809809 - No File option when replacing public dimension import job data source in SAC Analytics Cloud.

Symptom

No File option when replacing public dimension import job data source.

Environment

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open a public dimension and go to Data Management.
  2. Find an existing import job, choose Edit > Replace Data Source.
  3. Observe that there is no option to choose File as the new data source.
  4. Create a new import job for the same dimension.
  5. Observe that the File source option is available when creating a new job.

Cause

Missing Feature.

 

Resolution

The issue is planed to be fixed in the next Quarterly Release Cycle 2026.21(QRC4) version.
