3809830 - Download Code List export file shows more entries than are listed in the Business Configuration

• When downloading the Code List, the number of entries in the Excel export is higher than the number displayed in the application for the same code list.

1. Go to Business Configuration and choose Download Code List.
2. Open the exported Code List Excel file and check the number of entries for a particular code list.
3. Go to Business Configuration > Implementation Projects > Open Activity List > open the the relevant list.
4. Observe that the numbers do not match

• The Download Code List export includes additional context and mappings (C4C code together with external codes), which can create multiple rows for the same internal code across different countries and languages.
• The Activity List shows a filtered definition list of the code list only, without the expanded mapping/context rows. A one-to-one comparison between the two is not possible.

1. Treat the Activity List and the Download Code List export as different datasets serving different purposes and do not compare them one-to-one.
2. Use the Activity List to review the set of internal code definitions for a given code list (for example, Party Role).
3. Use the Download Code List export when mapping/context information is required (for example, internal-to-external codes per country or language) for integration or migration tasks.
