3809905 - Job Search on Career Site is not working when searching with country filter

On the Career Site, filtering jobs using the "Job in Country" filter for any country returns no results, even though multiple job requisitions are posted with "Job in Country" and "Country" fields populated.

The issue is caused by invalid values in the child location filter field (filterA: Job Posting State/Province) that is dependent on filterB: Job Posting Country. Many job requisitions contain a value of"0" in filterB instead of a valid picklist value or a null value. When the Job in Country filter is applied, these invalid child field values prevent the requisitions from being returned in search results.

 

Also, if the value maintained in the Country picklist exactly don't matches the country label defined in the SAP SuccessFactors country/region list for the en_US locale this issue can appear

• Ensure the Country picklist value matches the exact country label maintained in the SAP Help guide "Country/Region List to Add a Country Name in U.S English Locale". Any discrepancy between the country label used in the requisition and the supported locale value can prevent jobs from being returned by the filter. 
• Ensure the parent-child picklist configuration is correctly maintained and that the appropriate child picklist value is mapped for each country used in the job requisitions. Incorrect or missing country-specific child values can impact Career Site filtering behavior. 
• Customer must amend the configuration for the STATE_PROVINCE(Child picklist) and make sure a valid value is available in the job reqs.
