3809945 - Broadcast Shows No Data While The Report Shows Data In UI For User

Broadcast returns no data even though the report with the same selection and view shows data in UI for user.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Analytics -> Broadcast and open the broadcast.
2. Open the last broadcast run. It shows "No report data available to display; check the selection."
3. Open the report with same selection and view from Business Analytics -> Design Reports.
4. Report shows data for the user.

The report used relative selection on a field as default selection which caused the issue.

1. Change the maintained relative selection (for example, in field Company) and select the required value via value help in report and save.
2. Re-run or schedule the broadcast.
3. Broadcast is received successfully by the user with report data.
