Symptom
Incorrect retraining date calculation after user completes course from curriculum requirement.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Configure a curriculum with a requirement and enable event-based retraining.
- Record a completion for an item within the requirement for a user.
- Observe that the curriculum retraining date is calculated based on the first item completion instead of the requirement’s completion (last completion).
Cause
System defect.
Resolution
- No manual workaround is required; the issue has been fixed by engineering.
- The fix is planned for release b2611. After your system is updated (Preview: Oct 12; Production: Nov 13–15), the retraining date will calculate based on the last completion recorded for the requirement, per event-based retraining logic.
- After the update, validate that retraining dates align with the requirement’s last completion. If the behavior persists, contact support and reference this KBA.
