3810055 - How to set field "Created by" with BAPI_PR_CREATE

Symptom

  • Field Created by (EBAN-ERNAM) defaults to SY-UNAME, but there is a business requirement to set a different username — for example, when migrating purchase requisitions (PRs) from a legacy system.
  • The standard input structures PRHEADER and PRITEM do not expose this field. The only available input parameter is PRITEMEXP-CREATED_BY; however, BAPI_PR_CREATE does not map this field to internal processing.
