3810057 - Error "Value 'XXXX' is not valid for variable Business Place" when running CN_VAT_TRANS and CN_VAT_DDCT in Run Statutory Reports - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • An error occurs when starting the reports CN_VAT_TRANS and CN_VAT_DDCT using the Fiori app Run Statutory Reports.
  • Error message: "Value 'XXXX' is not valid for variable Business Place".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Fiori app Run Statutory Reports.
  2. Enter filters and run the reports.

Cause

  • The entered Business Place value is invalid because Business Place is not activated.
  • Required parameters in SSCUI "Define Business Place" are incomplete and/or the "biz place enabled" option is not selected.

Resolution

  1. In SSCUI "Activate Business Place", activate the Business Place function for the relevant country/region.
  2. In SSCUI "Define Business Place", complete all required parameters and select the "biz place enabled" option.
  3. Start the reports CN_VAT_TRANS and CN_VAT_DDCT again in the Fiori app Run Statutory Reports.
