3810140 - Manager in job information is not updated after changing Higher Level Position through Position import

• After a position import that changes the higher level position, the manager is not updated in Job Information for impacted employees.
• The manager is updated correctly if changes are done from UI instead of import.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Position Management

1. Perform a position import that updates the higher level position for one or more positions.
2. Check the affected employees’ Job Information and observe that the manager value remains unchanged.

The option “Adapt Reporting Hierarchy After Position Import” is set to No under Position Management Settings > Import.

1. Navigate to Position Management Settings-> Import section.
2. Set “Adapt Reporting Hierarchy After Position Import” to Yes.
3. Save the configuration.
