3810146 - Transaction KB21N allows posting without KP26 planned activity type price; manual price entry allowed in SAP S/4HANA, error KL001 not given

Symptom

  • In transaction KB21N (Direct Activity Allocation), posting is possible without a planned activity type price maintained in KP26 for the sender cost center/activity type in the relevant fiscal year.
  • Manual price entry is allowed on the document instead of a blocking with error
  • No blocking error such as KL001 ("Create a master record for &1/&2") occurs as in legacy systems.
  • When posting with a manual price, no entries are created in table CSSL or COST.
