3810232 - Special characters are missing when I use the Save as PDF print option

When I select the Save as PDF checkbox in the Choose Print Options popup to print a purchase order or invoice

while the CF-6373: PO and Invoice Print Layout updates feature is enabled,

the Hungarian special characters ő and ű are missing from the print layout output.

The characters display correctly on screen, but they are dropped from the saved PDF. The same issue affects other multi-byte and accented characters, such as those used in Cyrillic and other Central and Eastern European languages.
