3810365 - Language adaptation UI texts and components empty

• Language adaptation UI texts and UI components values are empty or not displayed after running "Collect Texts".
• Navigating to Administrator > General Settings > Language Adaptation > [Language Adaptation configuration name] > UI Text & UI Components returns no entries.
• The issue occurs when a PDI (Partner Development Infrastructure) custom OVS component included in the language adaptation configuration is missing a query name in one or more event handlers.

One or more of the following event handlers in the PDI custom OVS component do not have a query name specified:

• GetValueHelpHandler
• RetrieveValueHelpHandler
• SetValueHelpHandler

When the system attempts to resolve the query during "Collect Texts", it throws a runtime exception, preventing UI texts and UI components from being retrieved and displayed in Language Adaptation.

Note: The OVS component may pass activation successfully despite this configuration gap. The exception is only raised at runtime when the system attempts to build the component load.

1. Open the PDI custom OVS component in Cloud Application Studio.
2. Navigate to the event handler configuration within the OVS component.
3. Verify that a query name is explicitly specified for each of the following event handlers:
   • GetValueHelpHandler
   • RetrieveValueHelpHandler
   • SetValueHelpHandler

5. Add the missing query names to each affected event handler as per the blog configuration guidance.
6. Save and deploy the corrected OVS component.
7. Perform "Collect Texts" again in Language Adaptation and validate that UI texts and UI components are now displayed correctly.
