3810437 - Workflow with Dynamic Role as approver does not work when Foundation Object is Pay Group in the assignments - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• By attempting to trigger the workflow, the rule trace clearly states that the workflow is running, but it does not pop-up in screen.
• The workflow has Dynamic Role as approver and Pay Group as Foundation Object to match the criteria.

1. Ensure a workflow with Dynamic Role and Pay Group as Foundation Object for the role is configured.
2. Attempt to trigger the workflow, observe that the workflow dialog does not appear, even though the business rule trace shows the workflow was set.

The pay-group field was active in more than one HRIS element (for example, Compensation Information and Job Information) while the workflow approver Dynamic Role referenced the pay-group from Job Information.

1. Review HRIS element configuration to identify duplicate/unused pay-group fields across elements (for example, verify both Job Information and Compensation Information).
2. If the workflow approver Dynamic Role is intended to evaluate the pay-group from Job Information, deactivate/remove the unused pay-group field in other HRIS elements (for example, Compensation Information) as per SAP Guide Compensation Information.
