3810440 - Trusted Authentication fails with error: "SCrypt: failed to decrypt client's request for trusted authentication"

Symptom

  • After upgrading to SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 2025, testing the legacy QUERY_STRING Trusted Authentication method fails.
  • The CMS trace logs contain the following entry: 
    (CTrustedAuth.cpp:290) CEnterprise::AcceptLogin:
    SCrypt: failed to decrypt client's request for trusted authentication.
