3810774 - Picklist Dropdown Scroll Truncated at ~999 Items in Legacy People Profile

Symptom

  • A picklist field is configured with a large number of values (e.g., ~1,200).
  • When opening the dropdown on the edit page and scrolling down, entries stop displaying at approximately the 999th item; values from the 1,000th onward are not visible via scrolling.
  • Typing text in the field returns hidden values (index ≥ 1,000) as type-ahead suggestions, which can be selected successfully.
  • This behavior is observed in Legacy People Profile.
