• ODBC/DBSL traces show “[08001] Client unable to establish connection” and “sql error 10054 performing CON”
• Additional errors observed: SQL ERROR 10061, ERROR 0, ERROR -1, TCP error, TCP Provider: Error code 0x2746, TCP Provider: Error code 0x2AFA
• Windows Event Viewer on the SQL Server host logs: “A TLS 1.2 connection request was received… none of the cipher suites supported by the client are supported by the server. The SSL connection request has failed.”
• Windows SChannel messages such as “fatal alert code 40” and “Windows SChannel error state is 1205”
