3811104 - Error "Item Category could not be Determined" in Create Subcontracting Challan -India App in SAP S/4 HANA Cloud Public Edition

Error occurs as "Item Category could not be determined"  when creating a subcontracting challan using the Create Subcontracting Challan – India app

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Navigate to app create subcontracting challan - india.
2. Enter Company Code, Plant and select 'Create Challan/Invoice.
3. Click on Execute.
4. Select Line Item.
5. Click on Create Challan.
6. Click on Processing Log.
7. Error ‘Item category could not be determined.

To resolve the error below configuration steps needs to be followed:

1. Maintain the item category group for the subcontracting component in the material master.
2. Check the "Sales Document Type" in configuration activity "Classify subcontracting billing types" (SSCUI: 101924) for the company code and billing document type.
3. Maintain "Default item category for the document" for the sales document type and item category group in configuration activity "Assign item categories" (SSCUI :102807).
