3813282 - Why is there a difference between the distance captured on the mileage expense v/s distance that has been calculated on the mileage calculator?

One of our processors identified that the distance captured on the mileage calculator is a different value than the distance captured on the expense type. The Employee confirmed that he did not edit the distance on the mileage expense type as well. Could you assist me with the reason why there is a difference?
