3813679 - Why am I getting the error "Unexpected Runtime Authn Adapter Integration Problem"?

Symptom

We have integrated PingFederate with Concur according to recommended setup described in the article How do I configure PingFederate on the SAMLv2 SSO tool?, but we are not being able authenticate via SSO.

When we try to authenticate via IdP-initiated flow, using the SSO Application Endpoint URL, we get the following error message:

When we try to authenticate via SP-initiated flow, using the https://www.concursolutions.com URL, we get the following error message:
