3813956 - Why is there still a remaining amount on the Request when the associated expense report has a higher total amount than the original Request?

I have an approved request for $50, and I created an expense report linked to that request.  The total amount expensed on my expense report $89.  However, the Amount Remaining in the request shows $40.  I'd expect it to be $0 since the report is a higher total than the request.  Why does the request still show $40 remaining?
