Symptom
The configuration setting Do Not Allow Booking Hotels That Require A Deposit is enabled so the initial hotel display should indicate a deposit is required and user should not have the option to try to book it.
We have seen, too, where we built a rule to either show and not allow or to hide hotel rates that require a deposit. I am not sure why we even see the rate offered if the rule is set to hide or, if it is set to show and not allow, why can we still select the room rate, if a deposit is required?
Why am I not stopped from selecting a rate, but only later getting a hotel sell error The hotel rate you selected requires a deposit but this is not allowed by your travel policy?
