Symptom
A Corporate Identifier (CLID or OIN) is not visible to travelers during booking, but it is included in the background of the NDC request sent to the airline.
When properly configured:
-
The CLID is automatically added during NDC shopping and order creation.
-
Corporate fares may become available during search results.
-
The airline can associate the booking with the company’s agreement.
-
Company rewards or business loyalty benefits may be applied, if eligible.
If the CLID is missing or invalid:
-
Corporate-specific fares may not display.
-
Corporate benefits may not be applied after booking.
Important considerations:
-
Formatting requirements (such as required prefixes) must exactly match airline specifications.
-
The CLID must be configured at the company level; it is not entered manually by the traveler.
