3814882 - Why is the user unable to upload receipt images to an expense report?

I am experiencing an issue when uploading receipts. When I browse to attach a receipt image, the loading spinner continues indefinitely. However, after refreshing the page, the receipt does appear attached to the expense line item. Why does this occur, and why is a page refresh required each time I upload a receipt?
