3815491 - How do I exclude certain characters in a Form Field by using Field Validation?

We want to exclude using certain characters in a form field, such as the pipe character '|'

Expense > Expense Administration Invoice > Invoice Administration Concur Request > Request Administration

Concur Expense all versions ; Concur Invoice all versions ; Concur Request all versions

The client would like to not allow the user to input certain characters in a form field , KBA , CON-EXP-ADM-FOF , Forms and Fields , Problem
