3815493 - Why when I am performing a Hotel Search a hotel appears and then disappears in the search results?

Symptom

When you perform a 'Hotel search' in Concur website:

  1. Concur platform sent the request for all the hotel sources available and configured in your 'Travel Configuration' page.
  2. All sources check the all the 'requested' boundaries choose from the user under 'request' (Check-in Date, Check-out Date, Search within X miles from,  Reference Point/Zip code, etc.).
  3. The source respond back to concur the 'response' with all the hotels available (based in the boundaries chose from user).
  4. With all the results available Concur then runs a scan in the response and apply the filters set in the 'travel policy' (that are applied for that specific 'User' under his specific 'Rule Class').
  5. Concur then loads and show all the results in the screen for that specific search.
The step 2 can come from several sources, because of that the responses from 'sources' can vary therefore the full load of the page can also vary.
The step 3 can contain too many 'results' as the 'response', which makes longer the time needed to 'scan/apply' all the 'travel policies' and loading of the webpage.

To make sure that the Concur webpage is fully loaded need to check some details as:
  • Field 'Show as' on the right-hand corner is showing your set currency (when the page is still loading the value is AFN).
  • Small gear indication next to the 'View Rooms' Button.
  • 'View Rooms' Button is still not able to be clicked.
