3815709 - "UpdateEdition, Forbidden" Error in Work Zone Configurator When Creating a Tenant based from an existing SAP JAM

You're getting an error "UpdateEdition, Forbidden" in Step 4 (Set Up Environment) of Work Zone Configurator When Creating a Tenant based from an Existing SAP JAM.

1. Open the Work Zone Configurator.
2. Start the conversion of an existing SAP Jam tenant to Work Zone.
3. Run Step 4 (Set Up Environment).
4. Observe the error "UpdateEdition, Forbidden".

This error may be occurring due to one or more of the following reasons:

1. SAP Jam tenant is still coupled to BizX
The Jam tenant must be decoupled from BizX, as authentication and user provisioning should be handled by SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS for authentication and IPS for user provisioning) before transitioning to SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone.

2. Jam tenant data migration has not been completed
A tenant data migration to the Work Zone infrastructure is required in addition to the Off-BizX decoupling before the conversion can proceed.

3. Jam tenant is still on the sapjam.com domain
The Jam tenant URL must be migrated from sapjam.com to either the ondemand.com domain or a custom domain prior to transitioning to SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone.

To resolve this issue, please proceed with the following:

• Complete the decouple Jam from Bizx - 3111415 - How to decouple SAP Jam or SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone from BizX - SAP for Me
• Off-BiZx and tenant data migration to the Work Zone (K8S) infrastructure should be completed. 3202787 - How to determine if running Off-BizX is necessary for a SAP Jam or SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone instance? - SAP for Me
• Migrate the Jam Domain - 2920494 - Domain change and custom domains in SAP Jam and SAP Build Work Zone - SAP for Me
• Once everything is set up correctly, re-run the Work Zone Configurator and retry the "Trigger Setup" button in Step 4 (Set Up Environment). If issue persist, raise a case to LOD-SF-SWZ-PRV.
