3817437 - Why does the system default the passport expiration date to the first date of the month?

One of our users has a passport expiration date of 05/29/2026. He saves this date and logs out of the system. Next time when he is in the system and checks the date, it is getting defaulted to the first date of the month and shows as 05/01/2026. This is happening for many of our users.
