3817823 - Why when adding a hotel to an existing air booking, the nights do not match the departure dates?

When the hotel is added to an air reservation a few minutes later or in a separate session. 
I am seeing that the user added a hotel to an existing air booking, but the default for the hotel dates are 2 nights and it was only booked for one night.
