3817922 - Why does my import file fail with status Failed (Bad File)?

When importing an employee import file via Employee import under Import/ Extract Monitor (Administrator) the data is not processed and the status is Failed (Bad File).

The error message in Import details is: ''The number of delimited fields does not match the XML Import Definition file: expected 7 ; received: 137. Feed processing has been aborted due to the lack of an Import Settings record (type 100). Ensure that the first record in the employee data feed is an Import Settings record."
