3818122 - Why is the Assigned Approver for the Change Approver Rule not showing in the Approval Flow display?

When checking the approval steps via report timeline or approval flow, the system will show the approvers for each step even if the report has not yet been approved. In the change approver rule's case, it will not automatically show the assigned approver for the change approver rule, the system will show the normal approval hierarchy. The reason why that is, is because of how the workflow change approver rules work.
 

The change approver rules work when the report has flowed through the specific step that the rule is in. Meaning, if the change approver rule is in the manager approval step, the report has to go to that step in order for the system to trigger the rule.
