3818364 - Why is the %amountlimit% variable in my Audit Rule Exception showing the variable instead of the value in NextGen UI?

Symptom

We have an audit rule that flags an exception message if a user enters an expense that is over a set limit. The exception message should show the user how much their limit is and how much they went over the limit, using the %amountlimit% and %amountoverlimit% variables. We noticed that in NextGen UI at the Report level the variables are displayed in the exception message instead of the amounts. The user has to open the individual line item to view the correct values. How can this be fixed?

Exception Message:
You have exceeded the daily total of %amountlimit% by %amountoverlimit% exception

Report Level Exception:
Report level exception showing the %amountlimit% and %amountoverlimit% variables instead of values

Expense Entry Exception:
Expense Entry Level exception showing correct values
