3818630 - How do I set up Galileo finishing template to capture email address?

I am trying to set up a line in Galileo finishing template to capture email address. When I build the line, editor allows me to save it, but in my test booking I do not see either this new line nor other finishing lines. In the GDS transaction logs I can find an error INVALID CHARACTERS IN PHONE FIELD
Finishing line I built is, for example P.AMSE*-<trip/booked_by_login_id>
What does this error mean? How do I set up the line correctly?
