3818866 - Error in logs: "The content "XXXXX" of element <StateCode> does not match the required simple type"

After saving the profile, an error message appears:

"Concur saved your profile to the database but was unable to save it to the reservation system. Please contact SAP Concur support and share the following correlation ID code: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"




In GDS logs the following error is captured:  
NPDCTxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx::Invalid XML (not compliant with Schema): The content "XXXXX" of element <StateCode> does not match the required simple type. Value "XXXXX" contravenes the maxLength facet "3" of the type StringLength1to3.

When I save the profile an error appears.
