3818902 - Why are users with frequent flyer status unable to book Paid Preferential seats for American Airlines via Travelport?

I have frequent flyer status with American Airlines (AA) and cannot select a paid preferential from the Seat Map in Concur Travel (i.e. Travelport, Apollo, Worldspan, Galileo) as seats are greyed out/unavailable.
