3819480 - When did PDF version 2.0 started being used for imaging receipts?

Symptom

Expense receipt attachments from Concur are integrated to our S4Hana Public Cloud system. These attachments are then merged with the Customer Invoice in S4Hana via the standard invoice attachment merge functionality in S4Hana.

Since around December 2025 we have been experiencing issues in producing some invoices due to a merge error. On investigation we have ascertained that the issue is being caused by PDF Version 2 documents.

Attachments saved in Versions 1.6 and 1.7 are merging without issue.
