3819576 - Users in BDC, SAC or Datashpere show IAS shadow email instead of corporate email

Symptom

  • Email address for users in Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Datasphere are showing IAS (Identity Authentication Service) shadow user email address instead of their actual corporate email from the Corporate Identity Provider.
  • The email displayed in the application is in the format: xxxxx@user.from.httpxxxx.accounts.ondemand.com.cf instead of the expected corporate email format, e.g.: firstname.lastname@company.com.
  • This issue occurs when using IAS as a proxy or passthrough for SAML authentication to the application.
