Symptom
The User Provisioning Service v4 API is built on multiple independent data schemas. During a user creation request, each profile component (such as Identity, Spend, or Travel) is validated and provisioned separately.
If one part of the payload is valid and another contains incorrect or incomplete data, the valid components will be provisioned, while the invalid component will not.
For example, if the Spend profile is correctly defined but the Travel profile is not, the Spend portion will be created successfully, but the Travel portion will fail, resulting in an overall failed provisioning status.
Because each profile component is processed independently, checking the provisioning status is essential. The Summary Provisioning Request Status shows whether the request succeeded or failed, while the Detailed Provisioning Request Status provides field‑level information indicating where the error occurred.
