3819829 - How do I migrate from User v1 and User v3 to User Provisioning v4 API?

Symptom

The migration from User v1 or v3 to the User Provisioning Service (UPS) v4 API requires changes on the connector and application side. The current API version uses different:

  • URL request
  • Payload structures for creating/updating users
  • Data mapping 

Note: User v4 requires the refresh_token grant type for authentication, which differs from previous implementations with v1 or v3.
