3820017 - Import Data Error: "'User Information$' is not a valid name."

Symptom

When I attempt to Import Data to Custom Field Drop-Down menu, I get the following error:

'User Information$' is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not too long.
