3820029 - How can I prevent finishing from failing due to "SIMULTANEOUS CHANGE" error?

Symptom

I have a booking where finishing failed and finishing remarks were not added. In the GDS transaction logs, I can see that finishing failed due to the following error:

  • "PNR IGNORED AND REDISPLAYED DUE TO SIMULTANEOUS CHANGE"
  • "SIMULTANEOUS CHANGES TO PNR - USE WRA/RT TO PRINT OR IGNORE"
