3820480 - Why was the report automatically sent back to the employee during the Authorized Approver (AA) step?

We observed that the report was automatically sent back to the employee during the Authorized Approval step.

The status was updated from Submitted & Pending Approval to Sent Back to Employee, accompanied by the following system message:

"This approval step is skipped because the selected approver is no longer authorized to approve reports."
