3820578 - How do I troubleshoot Budget issues using the Budget Bulk Export?

Budget admins can use the data in the Bulk Exports to troubleshoot budget issues.

The two most useful Data Types used to troubleshoot are:

• Budget Configuration: The type of budget data that will be exported by selecting this option consists of all the budget item data visible on the Budget Items page similar to when the budget admin clicks on Send to Excel.

• Data columns: BUDGET AMOUNT; BUDGET APPROVERS; BUDGET CATEGORY; BUDGET DISPLAY NAME; BUDGET ITEM NAME; BUDGET OWNER; BUDGET TYPE; BUDGET VIEWERS; CURRENCY; DELETE BUDGET ITEM; FISCAL PERIOD NAME; FISCAL YEAR NAME; and Budget Tracking Fields

Common issues:

• Budget Item must have a Unique Identifier, which consists of the combination of the three data fields listed here: Budget Owner, Budget Item Name, and or different fiscal year.

• Why are other employee's expenses showing on my Budget Dashboard

• Spend Items: The type of budget data that will be exported by selecting this option is the equivalent to the data the Budget Owner selects by clicking the Export Data button in the Budget Dashboard. Spend items across all budgets will be exported when budget admins select this option.
