3821140 - Error: "Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'UK_USER_PROFILE_GUUID'" when using the employee import record type 320 to update Cloned Users only

Symptom

We cloned some users in our production entity and now we would like to update their Employee IDs and Login IDs. However, when we run an employee import using the 320 record type, we get the following error. How can we fix this?

An Unexpected Error occurred attempting to save UserProfile information for the employee with EmployeeId= [XXXX]. The following details should be communicated to Concur Client Support. Details: Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'UK_USER_PROFILE_GUUID'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'CUP.USER_PROFILE'. The duplicate key value is (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX). SQLState [23000] Error Code [2627] Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'UK_USER_PROFILE_GUUID'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'CUP.USER_PROFILE'. The duplicate key value is (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX).
