3821322 - Why is my date separator '-' dashes?

I need to know why when I open the extract file via notepad, the date separator is showing up as dashes, but in Excel, it's a slash.

Expense > Jobs Export / Extract

Concur Expense all versions ; Concur Invoice all versions ; Concur Request all versions

When client open the file via notepad, the date separator is dashes and they want it to be slash. , KBA , CON-CA-ADM , Administration , Problem
