3821508 - Why is my Hertz Gold Service not confirmed?

Symptom

I have the Hertz Gold card in my profile and I booked a car with this vendor, but in the Rental Details of my confirmation there is a message stating "GOLD SERVICE NOT CONFIRMED; CREDIT CARD NOT ON FILE - CALL HERTZ".
