3822929 - How does the system find an Authorized Approver for a request?

An Authorized Approver has special approver permissions:

• Limit approval: If the company wants to use limit approval, the administrator assigns each Authorized Approver an amount limit. The Authorized Approver can then approve a request if the request total is equal to or less than that assigned limit;
•  Exception approval: If the company wants to use exception approval, the administrator defines a minimum and maximum exception level. The Authorized Approver can approve a request if it has an exception level at or between the defined minimum and maximum levels.

In my Request Workflow, there is a step that requires Authorized Approval. Could you please explain how the system identifies an Authorized Approver? , KBA , CON-EXP-ADM-WFL-WL , Workflow , Problem
