3824095 - [SAP ICS] Posting Failed Error: 142(CTE_FIN_POSTING): Inconsistent usage of SAP tax code &1 and Concur tax code &2

Symptom

It's important to understand that a posting failure could occur not only due to concur configuration but also due to the SAP configuration, therefore troubleshooting is required to understand where the issue may be.

Before creating a support ticket with SAP Concur:

  • Reach out to your system administrators and check your system configurations on both the SAP and Concur side.
  • &1 represents SAP tax code and &2 represents Concur tax code
  • The SAP system administrator provides the posting error with &1, &2, document type, document ID, and revision ID.
  • Verify data coming in JSON to your SAP FI System How can I verify the data sent from Concur to SAP ICS (JSON file)?
