3824372 - How do I refresh the company connection for an ESS v4 Subscription?

Symptom

A company connection (and its associated Refresh Token) expires after 6 months of dormancy. As long as the Refresh Token is used and thereby renewed regularly, the connection remains active indefinitely.

Recommendations:

  1. Use the same Client ID for both the subscription and to perform API workflow actions that require Refresh Token authentication.
  2. Automate the Refresh Token renewal to refresh the company connection at least every 5 months.
    It is recommended to refresh it as frequently as possible to avoid unexpected expiration.
