Symptom
The character limit displayed in Custom Localization is based on standard Latin characters. Non-Latin scripts such as Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Arabic use a different character encoding, which means they take up more storage space per character compared to Latin text. As a result, a translation that appears to be within the character limit may still trigger the error.
The effective character limit will vary depending on the language used.
